Fitness Challenge

In 2005, the Academy hosted its first Fitness Challenge.  The purpose of this event was to pursue an activity that would benefit the cause of Special Olympics Virginia, raise awareness of the importance of physical fitness to the law enforcement profession, and to bring our local agencies together for the cause of fun and solidairty.  Participation in the Fitness Challenge is voluntary and is now open to any local, state or federal law enforcement personnel.  This September event is funded in part through corporate sponsorship and all proceeds from entrance fees benefit the Special Olympics Virginia.

The link below provides the results to the 3rd annual NVCJTA Fitness Challenge.  Please keep in touch with our website and newsletter.  Photos of the event will be posted, and results will be highlighted in the upcoming Academy Newsletter.  The Academy offers its thanks for all of you who participated in the competition as well as the volunteers who helped make the event a success.
