The course is conducted with strong orientation toward human resource management skills (leadership, motivation, communications, etc.), technical supervisory issues (performance evaluation, supervisory liability, conflict resolution, etc.) and operational issues (incident command system, documenting and conducting investigations, etc.). This intensive curriculum reflects concentration in areas to help supervisors meet the most current challenges in law enforcement.

Among the scheduled presenters are Chief Joe Price, Leesburg PD; Asst Chief Blaine Corle, Alexandria PD; Retired Chief Bill Klugh; Bryan Porter, Alexandria Commonwealth's Attorney and Bill O'Toole, Executive Director NVCJA.
