Resource Center

Welcome to the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy Resource Center. This center has been established to provide all of our students and staff with materials that will greatly assist in training development and presentations.

The materials available are detailed in catalogs listed below and can also be found in one of two locations, the Computer Lab/Resource Center, located in Room 108, or the Staff Resource Center, located in Room 213 which contains most of the Academy's videos, DVD, CD ROMs as well as other sensitive training reference material.

The material that is located in the Resource Center may be checked out by completing the Resource Center Checkout Log. Material that is located in the Staff Resource Center may be requested by filling out the Resource Center Request Form. Both forms are located in the back of the Resource Center Catalog binder, with the Resource Center Request Form also available below.

For Basic Training students the Resource Center Request Form must be forwarded up the Basic Training chain of command prior to the material being released. For In-Service Students, Adjunct Instructors and Member Agency Staff please fill out the Resource Center Request Form and then contact Scott Leonard, Curriculum Specialist at (703) 729-4299 x226, Steve Smylie, Curriculum Specialist at x225, or Albert Oglesby, Accreditation-Curriculum Manager at x118.
