Course Description
To detect every possible trace of evidence, investigators must utilize high-power narrowband alternate light sources (ALS) to search throughout the entire spectral range from UV to Near-IR to discover evidence that can be overlooked or unconsidered. During this hands-on training course, attendees will learn the basics of light theory and refresh their knowledge on photography using ALS. They will also learn advanced techniques, such as longwave reflected-UV and infrared fingerprint photography. Attendees will participate in a hands-on practical exercise to put their newly acquired skills to the test.
