Innovative decision making refers to the process of making choices and solving problems in a creative and forward-thinking manner. It involves breaking away from traditional or conventional approaches and instead seeking novel solutions that can lead to improved outcomes. Two days of field work will take participants out to a commuter rail service, a Metro subway train and station, a Metrobus, and an airport to receive briefings and gain insight into critical incidents that you as an officer may have to respond to or that could end up in your jurisdiction.
Officers attending will receive all case studies and will take part in a small exercise to further develop innovative decision-making skills during any critical incident.
